Backcountry Wilderness Area is an organization based out of Colorado. The organization’s mission is to improve wildlife habitat, inspire the next generation of nature stewards, and ignite a lifelong love of the outdoors for all. Consisting of over 8000 acres, their beautiful landscape is home to Rocky Mountain Elk, Merriam’s Turkey, Bears, Mule Deer, and more. All of which are monitored and tracked by WiseEye Cameras, to ensure conservation efforts are proving their worth.
WiseEye cameras will help Turkeys For Tomorrow researchers solve the mystery of declining turkey populations. Science being conducted in the Southeast is expected to help hunting conservationists improve turkey populations nationwide. WiseEye cameras deliver their photos using cellular data, and the photo management software pre-sorts the photos by subject. These services will save researchers hundreds of hours of work in the lab and the field. WiseEye is enabling easier Conservation efforts.
WiseEye Technology has partnered with Dr. Marcus Lashley and the UF Game Lab to support the Florida Turkey Project, a research initiative aimed at studying wild turkey populations and their habitat use. By utilizing WiseEye’s AI-powered trail cameras, researchers can collect real-time data, automatically identify turkey activity, and analyze movement patterns with unprecedented accuracy. These smart cameras provide critical insights into turkey behavior, helping scientists track population dynamics, nesting success, and environmental influences without the need for constant field monitoring. This technology not only enhances research efficiency but also plays a key role in data-driven conservation efforts, ensuring better-informed wildlife management strategies for the future.
