Make sure you have a 32GB or less SD card that is either a WiseEye card or one that has been formatted while inside of your camera.
Download the .zip file from the button above.
Do not unzip, extract or uncompress the file. The file should be “MC-2 Firmware Update EA04”.
Extract/Open the .zip file.
After doing so, you should have a folder with two files. One file is “DSP_Upgrade.bin” and the other is “DSP_Upgrade.cfg”.
Put the SD card in your computer and open it in a file browser.
Copy the two files from above onto the main folder of the SD card. DO NOT copy into the DCIM or any other folder of the SD card, the files should be in the same folder as the DCIM folder and not inside any folders.
Eject/Remove the card from your computer.
Put the card in the camera. You either need good batteries or external power.
While the switch is still “OFF”, hold down the “TEST” button.
While still holding the “TEST” button, move the switch to “SETUP” and keep holding the “TEST” button.
Hold the “TEST” button until the status light (far left) begins to blink quickly, then release the button.
Leave the camera alone until it restarts, possibly up to 5-10 minutes.
Once the camera restarts, the lights should begin their normal start sequence, the firmware update is completed. You can continue to use the card with the update on it without issue.
